Scholastics Art & Writing Awards 2013

I would like to extend a huge congratulations to those students whose pieces were accepted to the 2013 Scholastics Art & Writing Awards!  Over 30 individual pieces were entered and a total of 7 images were accepted.

The Scholastics Art & Writing Awards are held yearly at the Wichita Center for the Arts.  This show is a regional show that is open to all high school students from Kansas.  The images that win top awards (Gold Key award) will be eligible for the national show in Washington, D.C.

New Work: Advanced Photography

First off, I apologize for not getting this posted sooner.  It was such a hectic finals week last semester that I didn't make the time to create this post.

Secondly, I do want to emphasize how incredibly proud I am of last semester's advanced photography students!  They, once again, continually pushed themselves to create stronger and stronger work ensuring that the photography program at West stays at the top!!

Please enjoy this gallery of fine photography!
